As a Picture

Sparkle escapes the palm fronds
Shifting on the sea breeze
The sun blazes
Announcing the day
Peace at last in the cool morning
Settled nerves, the demon placed on the shelf
The sea beckons from a distance
The memory of yesterdays sand and surf
Call me back o ebb and flow
The thrill of new experience
I am ready I say

As a picture
The view is framed
The sun unleashed
Insight gained
A kaleidoscope
Flows through my head
Of memory
Not quite dead

As a picture
The view is framed
The sun unleashed
The day is aimed
New adventure
Out on the breeze
Take me now
Inexperienced seas

As pretty
